Double Happiness

Silk floss was the floss provided in the kit. It was quite hard to stitch with silk floss & I decided to change to Anchor cotton floss which I bought for 50 cents / skein.

This kit arrived just before CNY. I was really excited with the pre-printed design on the fabric as I assume it really saves me a lot of counting & marking time.

But I was now feeling disappointed as the floss quality quite low………

This is my first time with this brand….Will not buy this brand again……..

 

My current progress is on the teapot…..The whole design got no vibrating colors.....

I continue stitching this after CNY break for more than 1 months……It is 80% done…..

Clearer & brighter image right……Hope that I can done it before June…..

Will need to stitch other kit as preparation for the big day………………

As i began stitching this kit, the progress of this red flower seems to be good. But as the red flower is done, my progress on the green flower seems very slow that i left it aside for weeks....The feels is not really there, the fabric is wrong, the floss is wrong......

Here’s the update.

Not much progress as I have been moody this few months…

My passion for CS faded & I seem to be a bit lost in my own world….

Maybe a vacation will cheer me up….who knows…
